Can I migrate from another CSMS to SmartŞarj?
Yes, and that is exactly what OCPP is for. If the chargers speak OCPP, changing platform is in essence repointing an endpoint: the devices stay, the software behind them is swapped. The same route works from the platforms known in the market — AMPECO, Virta, Monta, be.ENERGISED, has·to·be, ChargePoint, EVBox, GreenFlux — and in the other direction too; an open protocol is open precisely so that you are locked in to neither a hardware nor a software vendor. Tariffs, users and opening balances are imported by us, and the old system's history can be kept as an archive.

Will my chargers work with SmartŞarj?
Any OCPP-compatible charger works — OCPP is an open protocol. SmartŞarj is cloud-based and vendor-independent; ELPO also manufactures AC and DC chargers if you want a single-vendor solution.
Can I run the network under my own brand?
Yes. White-label covers the driver app and the operator panel — your name, your colors. Operators run their own network under their own brand.
Can I connect to other charging networks?
Yes, over the OCPI standard. A partner connects in minutes via the OCPI 2.2.1 three-step handshake (verified end to end with a real partner). You publish your locations and tariffs; partners can send remote charge commands within the agreement.
Does it fit Turkey's regulations?
Yes. SmartŞarj covers multi-network operation under EPDK charging-service rules and automates GİB e-invoice flows — something global platforms don't offer for Turkey.

Can I use my own AI key (BYOK)?

What is a CSMS and what does it do?
A CSMS (Charging Station Management System) is the software that runs charge points from one place: device status, session and tariff management, user and payment flow, reporting. SmartŞarj is a charging network management platform — it gathers OCPP-compatible hardware from any vendor into a single panel.
What does a charge point operator (CPO) do, and how does it differ from an eMSP?
A CPO installs, operates and prices the charge points. An eMSP gives drivers an app and a subscription, and may own no hardware at all. SmartŞarj runs the operator side — and roaming brings eMSP drivers to your stations.
Do I need an EPDK charging network operator licence?
In Türkiye, charging services fall under EPDK's charging service regulation, and the licence application is the operator's own responsibility. SmartŞarj works within those rules and lets you manage several charging network licences from a single panel.
How are charge points and session records kept?
Every unit and every session is recorded in the panel and reported by energy, duration, tariff and payment. Nothing is carried by hand from pricing to invoicing — SmartŞarj automates the GİB e-invoice flow.
What is OCPP, and will my existing hardware work?
OCPP is the open protocol between a charge point and its management software; it keeps you from being locked to one hardware vendor. SmartŞarj is OCPP-compatible, so units from different manufacturers run side by side on the same network.
What do roaming and OCPI do?
Roaming lets a driver from another network charge at your station, and OCPI is the open interface that makes the connection. Opening your network to roaming puts your stations in front of far more drivers and turns idle capacity into revenue.
