Stations, chargers and connectors as one hierarchy
Sites, the devices on them and the connectors on each device are held as one tree, so a tariff or a permission set can be applied to a whole region or to a single socket. The tree does not care what the hardware is: AC wallboxes and street totems from 3.7 kW, DC fast chargers up to 240 kW, Type 2, CCS2 and CHAdeMO connectors all sit in it the same way, as long as they speak OCPP. Suppliers and groups sit in the same structure, which is what makes multi-operator work possible.

What does a CSMS do that a charger's own software does not?
A charger's software runs one device. A CSMS runs the network around it: one tariff across many sites, one user base, one set of reports, and one place where a fault is visible.
Can I migrate from another CSMS to SmartŞarj?
Yes, and that is exactly what OCPP is for. If the chargers speak OCPP, changing platform is in essence repointing an endpoint: the devices stay, the software behind them is swapped. The same route works from the platforms known in the market — AMPECO, Virta, Monta, be.ENERGISED, has·to·be, ChargePoint, EVBox, GreenFlux — and in the other direction too; an open protocol is open precisely so that you are locked in to neither a hardware nor a software vendor. Tariffs, users and opening balances are imported by us, and the old system's history can be kept as an archive.
Can I run more than one charging network from the same panel?
Yes. Networks, operators and their stations are separate objects, so several operator licences can be managed side by side without a separate installation for each.
Does it work with chargers I already own?
If they speak OCPP, yes — OCPP is an open protocol and SmartŞarj is vendor-independent. Devices from different manufacturers run on the same network together.
Which charger types and power levels does it manage?
AC and DC alike, from a 3.7 kW home wallbox to a 240 kW DC fast charging station, with Type 2, CCS2 and CHAdeMO connectors — commercial AC totems and street units included. The panel is the same in every case; only the connector and tariff definitions differ. If you need the hardware as well, ELPO's own certified AC and DC line is at elpo.com.tr.
How do I connect a charger to the panel?
You enter the CSMS OCPP address in the charger's own management interface; the moment it connects it appears in the panel under the station, device and connector hierarchy. No middleware is installed.
How does a driver start a session?
The driver starts by scanning a QR code or entering a code. Reservations, campaigns and loyalty hang off the same user record, and who may start a session is set through authorisation and roles.
How is revenue shared with the site owner?
The split is not reconciled by hand: pricing is set per device or in bulk, and the share between site owner and operator is calculated and posted as a settlement. Profitability is reported from the same records the invoices come from.
